Chapter IV: The First Winter
Chapter IV: The First Winter is an experimental book exploring the harshness and isolation in the icy tundras of polar landscapes.
The book takes the viewer through a visual progression of Arctic explorer, Roald Amundsen’s account of his journey in the Norweigen snowscapes. This book was printed on washi paper made with silver fibers and french folded with interior printing.
This was a university project investigating the materiality of the design process.
